Show Salt Lake County Hosts Third In Series Of Meetings The Salt Lake County Commission will host the third in a series of town meetings for the residents of Salt Lake County on Thursday, June 14, at the Northwest Center Reading Room, 1300 West 3rd North. Multi-Purpos- e The June town meeting scheduled for the Rose Park, is Redwood and Glendale areas and all interested residents are encouraged to attend. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. frequent criticism of government in general that is elected officials are too aloof and isolated from those they represent. The town meeting is a response to that criticism and is designed to provide the citizen with greater access to his elected representatives. Although no official county business may be conducted, the meeting will allow for an informal airing of citizen complaints and concerns. Since no formal agenda will be set, the time may be spent as the participants desire. Camp Physicals In Order With another school year coming to an end, and summer just around the corner, many parents will pack their sons and daughters off to camp so they can be united with the wilderness; not to 4k W NOTICE A !! Due to Model Cities funding cuts for this year, the S. L. Neighborhood News will become a monthly publication beginning with this issue. It is hoped that this will be a temporary situation and that we will soon be able to resume a weekly publishing schedule. The Neighborhood News staff will continue to diligently make every effort to keep you aware and informed of community services, needs & resources. We deeply regret we cannot, at this time, continue to do this on a weekly basis. The next issue of the Neighborhood News will be published on July 12, 1973. mention the peace and quiet it brings to the parents' frilled nerves. If you happen to be one of those parents who is looking forward to some peace and quiet Health I.D. Cards In this summer by sending your children to camp and you know Force The Neighborhood they may need Health Center announced this week that all Neighborhood Health Center identification cards are still good even if they show an expiration date that has passed. If such an expiration date appears on the card, it should be ignored. The Center business office is issuing new cards to those members whose cards have expired. The new cards that are a physical examination prior to leaving, then it is important not to wait until the last minute to see the doctor. Have the children's physicals done early and avoid the rush. The doctors will appreciate it too. presently being mailed to memberswill show no expiration date at all. This will hopefully eliminate further confusion and allow the Neighborhood Health Center staff to deal more effectively with each individual case.
