Job Corps 359-379- 5 Three anticipating and eager women have just taken the Enroll ment Oath to Job Corps for Women, administered by W. Sterling Evans, Salt Lake County Clerk, and are ready to embark on a new adventure of learning and preparation for occupations. The young women are Martina and Modesta Garcia and Claudia Golson, all of Salt Lake City. This program is available to all young women between the ages of 16 and 21 years, who a high school desire diploma and training for an occupation of their choice. The young women live at a designated Center while in training, studies and learns at her own rate of speed, receives a small spending allowance for personal items while at the Center. She also monthly allowance allocated to her which is saved for her until she completes her training. Her travel expenses and receives a board and room are provided through the program. The three young women enrolling in the program from Salt Lake will travel to Albuquerque, or New Mexico to begin their training.
