K Center Faces Crisis model cities hope for people and their communities DO YOU WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO MAKE THE DECISIONS FOR YOU? The Central City Community Center, 615 South 3rd East, is facing a crisis. The city, in reducing their budget, has decided they probably won't be able to continue funding the Center. This means the Center may have to come up with $63,000 to operate for the next year . Willie Price, Director, has appealed to all residents of the Central City area and other concerned citizens to participate in an immediate effort. Donations can be made directly to the Center or one could participate in the events which will be planned. Volunteers are needed to assist in this project. It would be disastrous to allow this center to close! Call Willie at for more information or to volunteer your help. fund-raisin- IF YOUDONT fund-raisin- ATTEND THIS WEEK'S MEETINGS!
