Show OLD SALT LAKE MINING MAN DEAD edward P cullinan manager of the tonopah dividend mining co and with other mining interests in sofi southern thern nevada died in the mines hospital at tonopah on the of last month from poisoning his health having been impaired for several years says the nevada mining press cullinan was a native of connecticut 55 years of age b and came to tonopah from salt lake city about 1909 to superintend the installation of electrical equipment for the tonopah belmont development co he had been in th the e employ of the westinghouse electric co for a number of years as an expert on electric installation and after installing b the belmont plant he remained as electrician for the company an and d invested from time to time in mining b ventures prior to the divide boom he had organized in association with julius goldsmith and others the tonopah dividend mining co securing a large group of claims adjoining the tonopah divide mine and from this enterprise he is reputed to have realized a comfortable fortune fortun e with the passing of activity at divide he moved to los angeles where he bought a home later he secured for the dividend in kern county california and co a property near mojave had spent part of his time at the property his remains were sent to los angeles for burial |
