the mines of this district are prolific in the production of all of the precious metals then too almost in the same range range 1 behave we have stockton and ophir old districts of excellent repute which have made many fortunes in the past and which although ancient camps give promise of more than duplicating their past enviable records in the production of gold silver and lead the southern portion of utah is not wanting in opportunities in the mining line frisco for years has poured her metallic treasures into the avenues of trade trade and commerce and the vast copper deposits of that section are now as a lodestone to those seeking profitable investments in properties productive of the metal that is now in such urgent demand in manufacturing and commercial centers to the south of given to the deep creek country a region embracing many districts of merit and promise and a section possessing such possibilities in the mineral way that one would scarce believe half of what is told concerning them we have not made mention of what utah offers in the min mining ing way of the fortunes that can be made here in the mining industry of the various roads which lead to wealth within the
