The report of tho SanU Clara Irri-Ration Irri-Ration Company was received, read, and on motion was referred to the Committee on Irrigation and Canals. Mr. Jennings gave notice that on Monday next he would introduce a bill for "An Act defining the qualification qualifi-cation of and the mode of selecting and Bummuning grand and petit jurors." Mr. Cnine gave notice chat on Monday lie would introduce a bill for An Act concerning fraudulent conveyances con-veyances and contracts. On motion of Mr. Harrington, the freedom of the Council Chamber was extended to Mrs. Gov. Woods, to the wives of the members and officers of the Legislative Assembly; the wives of the gentlemen to whom had been extended the freedom of the Chamber: Chamb-er: also to the Presidents and Counselors Coun-selors of Relief Socities; the publisher and editor of the 11 Oman's ICxonent, and the ladies of the Library Association Associa-tion of Salt Lake City. On motion of Mr. Thatcher, the committee on printing wjw authorized to order printed all bills that the several sev-eral standing committees may- deem of sufficient importance to have printed. I On motion of Mr. Partrilge, the Committee on Judiciary was instruc- j ted to consider the propriety of pre-1 senting a bill providing and arranging for compiling the laws of the Territory, Terri-tory, and also such laws of Congress as are applicable to the Territory, with index, marginal notes, etc. The bill for an act providing for the election of probate judges, and county assessors and collectors, was taken up on its second reading.
