San Francisco, 2 An accident to the press prevented the issuing of the first edition of the Bulletin this evening, and delayed the second edition several hours. To-day process was issued by the U. S. district court, against the treasure of the Sacramento, which was supposed to bfl in the Bunk of California, but the officers found that it had besn paid over to tho parties to whom it belonged. Nono of it was in tho bank. San Jose, Tho Santa Clara Valley agricultural society held its annual election for officers to-day. Jesse Hamilton, a farmer, living four miles south of this city, sustained a i fracture of the left leg by the kick of a hors, on Tuesday. Santa Barbara, 2. Quite a seneation was created here yesterday morning, by the statement in the Times that scar let fever is prevalont here and very fatal. I have, to-day, consulted five of the leading physicians of the town, and each declares he knows of not ;a single case of scarlet fever in the town. A fever of a mild type, accompanied by a slight eruption, but not contagious, has been somewhat prevalent lor a few weeks past; but no case has proved fatal, so far as I can learn. Jas.
