termina-tion of the contract with the Mingo I Jesse Knight and J W Jackman have let a contract to the Straw Bros for 25 feet of drifting in the Miners I j Delight claim which joins the Carisa I The the Grand Central was out Tuesday Inspecting that property Jlr Holbrook advises us that the new strike on the 700foo level of the mine is all that was re pcrted and more The new strike is in a winze from the 700foot level I amore am-ore extraction will not commence until un-til a donkey hoist has been erected on that level which will be in a few days Mr Holbrook expresses the grandest confidence that the Grand Central is going to develop into a big mine M D Howlett has purchased the quarter interest of Herman L Lock erty In the Lucky Boy group and arrangements ar-rangements are now under way for the incorporation of the property The Lucky Boy lies about a mile southerl of the Buckeye mine and makes a very favorable showing for the amount of development done The sinking of a 100foot shaft was just com < leted a few days ago and work has been temporarily tem-porarily suspended pending the completion com-pletion of the Incorporation The other I owners of the ground are Charles Hanks Gus
