Show George Hills Funeral I The funeral of the late George Hill the unfortunate young man who was accidentally killed on the Utah Nevada Railway at the terminus a lew days since took place yesterday afternoon after-noon from the Sixteenth Ward Meetinghouse Meeting-house The services were largely attended by the relatives and friends of the deceased including the officers and employees of the Utah Nevada RailWAy Rail-WAy vvhich showed the affection and respect in which the young man was held Addresses were made by Mr George G Bywater and W W Riter Esq Mr Bywater spoke very eloquently of the grea necessity of leading upright and honorable lives upon this earth to entitle us to the glory of eternal life in the world to come and referred to the deceased as one whose life is reputed to have been of such a character as to merit this great reward The remarks of Mr Riter were principally princi-pally eulogistic of the life and character of the deceased and he spoke very feelingly l feel-ingly of him as an employe whose conduct con-duct had been above reproach and who had always given the greatest satisfaction satisfac-tion and whose fidelity to duty never wavered The remains were followed to the cemetery by a large number of carriages |
