Show Engaged. Tho theatre-going public pub-lic will bo pleased to learn that Mr. G. B. Waldron has been engaged by tho Management of tho theatre, and will probably mako a somewhat lengthy stay with us. George is a favorite heis, and an actor of ability and versatility. versa-tility. Though his talents aro well recognized rec-ognized iu this city, it will not be out of place to quote the following concerning con-cerning him from tho Denver Xrws, on his leaving Colorado for Salt Lake : j Mr. G. B. Waldron, the well-known actor. is on tho eve of departure from J this city, where he has been so long and favorably known. It is now four j years since this gentlemen first made his appearance in this section of the ! country, and during his presence with ' jus, from time to time, ho has ever' I been found an upright citizen, a cordial j friend, and an earnest promoter of the ! welfare of our city. As an actor, Mr. Waldron possesses large talents, and ! stands far up in tho profession. In Denver he has done much towards de-1 veloping a taste for the legitimate , drama, and the theatre-going public i will remember him kindly for his earnest ear-nest and untiring labors in this direc-: uon. His scores of warm personal ' friends regret the fact that he and his ' estimable wife are to bid them fare-; well, and with the latter we unite in wishing this couple a full measure of success in their journey. After the "present engagement of 1 Miss Blanchard, and Messrs. Rankin and Power, Miss Rose Evans, the' talented tragedienne, will appear. She is at present playing in Nevada, and ' : will come from there to this city.
