Mining company ‘was reported yesterday when the local office of that corporation stated that 11478 tons of ore 600 being zinc ore had been hoisted The number of ' underground men employed yesterday were 7768 out of a normal of 10000 notwithstanding the fact that a considerable number of men have been weeded out who possess no knowledge whatever of mining to make roohi for those who do With any material increase in the number of men now at work underground it will be necessary to resume operations at some of the mines now down for repairs Butte & Superior Elm Orlu Davls-Dal- y North Butte
