Smoot presiding. j The leading men of all the settlements settle-ments of the county were present, ex-i coin from Lehi, Cedar Fort and Fair-' field, which were not represented. 1 On the call of the Chairman for re-1 ports of amount of stock subscribed,! and the feelings of the people on this matter, the majority of the representatives representa-tives reported a general desire for such a measure and a liberal subscription, while in two or three settlements a feeling of tear or a wih to wait and see liow the bu-iness will pay, seemed to prevail. A number of excellent speeches were made by gentlemen present, and a good feeling prevailed. The committee, consisting ot lion. George W. Beau, L. John Nuttall and John'B. Milner, appointed at a previous previ-ous meeting to draft a constitution, or articles of agreement lor organization, presented said agreement which was, read, and, niter due consideration, on motion of Win. liringhurst, was received re-ceived and adopted: the name of the association being tho "I tab County Co-operative Stock Association with a capital stock of one hundred thousand thous-and dollars.
