Contagious opthalmia among children in publio institutions institu-tions has increased to such an extent that the Academy of Medicine has taken the matter up and a committee on opthalmia has arranged to thoroughly investigate the disease. About twenty-five prominent physicians phy-sicians have been selected to visit the institutions.
