Clayton Contributing Writer A tragic accident claimed the life of a freshman student Christopher Mark Kingery was working on a forklift when the accident occurred He was taken to toa toa toa a local hospital where he died Sunday morning September 28 1997 He was 18 years old He graduated from Copper Hills High School in June and worked to earn money for his classes at the college Rory Pendelton Christopher's best friend told how Christopher taught him to 10 fish and he taught Christopher to ski They spent many hours together since their friendship began eight years ago We spent a lot of time er erl I will always think of him when I go to Solitude Rory said Mae woods recalled fond memories memories memories mem mem- ories of her friend He was always happy When I Iwas Iwas Iwas was having a bad day I could count on him to cheer me up He was a great teacher He taught me many things about myself and other things life fishing I cant can't wait to see him again Monday a group of friends hiked to Solitude a favorite place of his and left tribute in honor of their late friend Christopher always wanted to be a ranger according to his father Christopher is survived by his parents Mark and Robyn Kingery and Brother Benjamin This world will be a lot darker because of Christopher's death his father said Funeral Services were held Thursday October 2 1997 |
