Show Dear Concerned: It's better to have tried and lost than not to have tried at all. It's right to say I'm in to win when you feel your courage fall. It's good when in your heart you know you did the best you could. Who'd reprimand you then, my friend, of course, nobody would. If you put forth the best you knew, no matter what the cost, Then smile at someone else's gain, you really haven't lost. Perhaps you've loaned your happiness hap-piness to one who needs it more. And in so doing, opened for your self another door. A door that leads to understanding of the reason why Another man passed o'er the line and you did not get by. So go into the game again, regardless regard-less of the call, . For it's better to have tried and lost than not to have tried at all. Bonnie Jean Scott. |
