Asa journalist, I have had several conversations with members of the Central Utah Correctional Facility staff, warden, area dty officials, and citizens about the impact CUCFhas had on Sanpete County. lam impressed when I hear the general positive tone in everyone's voice as they speak of the past and the future with CUCF. I am impressed with the cooperation between different agencies, the state of Utah, Sanpete County, South San r pete School District, Sevier Valley Technological Center, Utah State University, Show College, the list Is incomplete. There arecurrently 161 volunteers helping at CUCF, giving more than 100 hours of service a month. I also see new residents of the community helping in high school football, littleleague sports, BoyScoutsof America Girls Scouts, 4- - U, again the list ends incomplete.
