Show Evelyn Kiesel What a busy week. While you are reading this I will be ending my summer vacation in Tampa Florida, a gift from my dear family My parents, Lester and DeOna Oyler are serving an LDS Mission there, and my sister Leslie Christensen and daughter Kaylie, and my daughter Jennifer Scott and her daughter, Ashlie and myself spent a week visiting with them. Ill fill you in on what we did next week. The Class of 1993 graduated from Noth Sevier High School Thursday evening. Graduates from Redmond were Danny Wilkins, son of Carla and Kendyl Wilkins; Jeff Nielsen, son of Mark and Zanaya Nielsen; Kasey Bosshardt, son of Susan Bosshardt and the late Larry Bosshardt; Chrissy Poulsen, daughter of Keith and Sandy Johnson and Kirt Poulsen; Kristy Neilson Piep, daughter of Sandra and Jereld Neilson and wife, of Jensen, and Melissa Larsen, daughter of Carma Larsen and Don Larsen. Congratulations to all. Boyd Christensen from Qua-naTexas has spent the past week visiting his parents, Whitney and Mary Christensen and his children. He came especially to be here for the graduation of his daughter, Amanda, from both high school and Sevier Valley Applied Technology Center. A family barbecue was held at the Christensen home on Friday. Those attending were Shelly and Brett Barney and son, Nielson, of Spanish Fork; Lynn and Jolene Christensen and son, Sheraden, from Brigham City; aid Boyds younger children, Amanda, Jedd and Aspen from Sal-inAlso his friend, Judy Fullmer and son, Morgan were attending. Boyd took Amanda, Jedd and Aspen with him back to Texas to stay for a few weeks. Memorial weekend visitors at the Whitney Christensen home have been their son and wife, Paul and Pauline from West Valley, WHit-ne- y s sister and husband Thelma and Charlie Kenyon from Salt Lake and Marys sister, Doreen and her daughter, Pauline, from Provo. Erdis Mickelsen has recently h, a. returned from a two week tour to Georgia, the Carolinas, the Virginias, Kentucky and Tennessee. Visiting with Edris Mickelsen and Manon Mickelsen were Steve and Sheryl Mickelsen and family, and Barry and Marcia Mickelsen and family. At the McKay and Norma Roberts home this Memorial Day weekend has been Rob and Micki Kinch and daughter. Visiting Luella Jorgerson this has been Dennis Jorweekend long and Diane Jensen and Kay gensen and daughters. Visiting Keith and Sandy Johnson and here for the graduation of their daughter, Chrissy has been Sandys mother, father and brother, Keiths mother, JoAnn Johnson and her mother, Mrs. Foy. A family party was held after graduation at the Johnson home. Weekend guests at the Miles and Dona Anderson home has been their son, Denzel Anderson and family. Nate and Betty Anderson were at their home this weekend along with all of their children and grandchildren. to Melissa Congratulations Larsen who was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church on Saturday. Fred and Valerie McCord were released with a vote of thanks as Bear leaders in the Club Scout Program. Matt Jensen, son of Allen and Louise Jensen graduated from Primary and was presented to receive the Aaronic Priesthood and be ordained to the office of a Deacon on was held at the Redmond City park Saturday. Don and Iris Hales were hosts this year. Those attending were Troy Hales, Tammy and Justin Okerlund, Debbie and Russel Newman and children, Bernice and Lee Newman, West Valley City; Roy Hales and family. Bountiful; Chris Hales, Staci and Gary Gunnell, Bountiful; Cal and Becky Hales and children. West Jordan; Joseph and Karen Nielsen and family, SLC; Karl and Lisa Hales and family, Salem; Collin Hales and family; Mike Hales and family, Kearns; Richard Hales and family. Bountiful; Sherolyn Hales, Bountiful; and Brent Hales and family, Fruit Heights. They ate, played games at the park and had a good time being together. Visiting with Marjorie Mickelsen has been LaVonna and Roger Peterson, Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Smith and son, Chad, Taylorsville; Mr. and Mrs. Oris Sorenson, West Minister, CO; and Mrs. Theo Mortensen, Richfield. Visitors at the Byron Jensen home this weekend have been Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jensen and family, Heber, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Jensen and family. Amelda Poulson has had a house full of fun guests this weekend, Craig and Julie Jensen and children, Andrew, Sarah and Morgan Jensen, Dennis and Kathleen Jensen, LaRue and Rick Taylor, and Michelle and Valerie Jacobsen have been spending time with Amelda. At the UDell Johnson home this weekend has been Valerie and Terry Hansen and children. They also spent some time with Terrys mother, Meryl Hansen. Caria and Kendyl Wilkins spent the weekend moving their daughter Cami Wilkins to Hurricane, where she will be teaching school next year. On Memorial Day weekend, visiting Fae were Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Roundy and family, of West Valley City; Mrs. Janell Keith, Provo; Mrs. Jill Yeates and daughter McK-ellof Salt Lake City; Mrs. Katherine Holyoak and daughters Deborah, Brenda and Janice, all of Moab. Mr. and Mrs. David Toregensen and family were in California on vacation. They went to Disneyland, Sea World, and Knotts Berry Farm and other points of interest. Visiting fora few weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Clark has been their grandson, Joshua Uriarte, of SLC. Mr. and Mrs. Leeon Christensen were in Salt Lake City on May 25th to meet their Grandson Chris Holdaway who was coming home from his Mission. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Gay land Holdaway, of Boise, Idaho, Chris parents. They also went to Castle Dale to visit Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jeffs and to attend the graduation of their grand- e, Sunday. The Teachers Quorum was reorganized Sunday. Released were Shawn Lund, Jeremy Peterson, Kurt Bosshardt and Chad Mickelsen. Sustained were Jeremy Peterson, Kreig Jensen, Brady Lund and Pat Jensen. Enjoying the Memorial Day weekend with the Lee Jensens has been T roy and Ann Marie Norris and son, and Matt and Kayleen Lyman and children. Former residents Chad and Elaine Nelson were here visiting this long weekend. At the Rulon Miller home spending the first long holiday of the summer have been Tim and Barbara Miller and children. Visiting with Helen Willardson this weekend has been Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Willardson and children. Karrol and Loma Draper have had as weekend guests Judy Loftland and children. Preston and Carolyn Pickett have been here visiting children and Bronzel and Rula Pickett and also with Max and Claudette Peterson. Ryan and Verlene Christensen and children, Santa Clara, spent the Memorial Day with Owen and Katy Christensen. They rode horses and visited and had a good time. Some of the children of the late Glen Hunter have been here observing the Memorial Day Holiday. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Crane for the holiday were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Anderson and family, of West Valley City; Mr. and Mrs. Rick Pingree and family, of Sandy; Kurt Crane, SLC; John Brian Crane, Lewisville, Idaho; and Marie Christensen, West Valley City. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Heaps took back their granddaughter Bridget to Las Vegas, NV to her home after she spent a few weeks visiting them. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. Paul White, Bridgets par- great-grandso- GV Hospital Diane Sorensen has been chosen Employee of the Month at Gunnison Valley Hospital. She is a great asset to our staff. Diane was employed 19 years ago when Frank Peterson was the Administrator and Dr. Stanford Rees was still practicing medicine. TechDiane has attended nician School at Utah Valley Hospital and is currently taking more classes through Weber State College. In the afternoon an Open House was held for family and friends to call and visit with Jason and his family. He will enter the MTC June 9 and will serve in the Australia Adelaide Mission.
