The boys hotly declared that they would certainly escape from their prison in Salina, but their clothing was locked up in another room and they were handcuffed to prevent their . escape the first night. They also bitterly declared that they would not return to the industrial school, stating that as punishment they would be locked up and fed on bread and water for a week and then thoroughly trounced by the larger boys in the school. They said they were willing to serve ime in the state prison, but would not stay in the school. Marshal Crane treated the lads royally, serving them three meals a day and by the time of their departure, they were in higher 'irits. The Weber county sheriff returned them to the industrial school for the second time in two weeks yesterday. A TV J. V i A.
