They will visit 10 days with the Terry Ashmans, who are residing there while he is serving with the U.S.A.F. Successful Field Day field June 30 At Snow College A highly successful Field Day was held at the Snow Field Sta- tion in Ephraim on June 30th. Fifty persons were in attendance, representing seven surrounding counties, plus those from Utah State University. There was not a very good representation of farmers, according to Dennis Funk, chairman. Dr. D. W. Thorne, Director of Utah Agricultural Experiment Station, gave a brief report on the Experiment Stations throughout the state. The Snow Field Station was established Feb. 1, 1956, in a cooperative agreement between Snow College and the Utah Agricultural Experiment Station. It 90 consists of approximately acres owned, and 40 acres rented. The Station is to serve the joint purposes of research, demonstration and education, said Dr. Thorne. Dr. C. I. Two pens of each will receive a mash plus grain ration. Two pens of each will receive an all mash ration in pelleted form.
