We Was shacked to say the least when the bulletin came in that Douglas Stringfellow, Republican Congressman from Utahs First District, had admitted he had been building on a falsehood in regards to his Army service. To make matters even worse, a right good Democrat was sitting on my elbow when the bulletin was released. You know, Dail Prows didnt even give me a chance to agree. DO YOU KNOW: E LONG OR SHORT SLEEVES porcupine killer, found out Sunday. Neither he nor his wife, Gloria, had been in our mountains, so took them on a Jeep ride over Flat Top, Antone Holler, Browns Hole, Neoche, etc. We saw a lot of porkys, and when Doc hit em with a rock, that wts all. The rock was as big as the porky (I couldnt even lift one, the rock that is). A last minute reminder to the hunters, kill all the porcupines you see. They damage the forests, injure livestock, and just dont seem to be any good to anyone. l- DO YOU KNOW: PROMOTION I l, MBXSS Was visiting Lynford Anderson, Sunday, sitting on the bed with my back to the window on the west. Lynford asked me kindly to refrain from obscuring his view of the approximately eight feet he can see outside from his bed, and while I w'as moving, to take a look out the window and see the rooster pheasant he was intending to shoot when the opened. I turned around, and sure enough, there was a beautiful large rooster perched on the Anderson fence, well in range of a shotgun from Lynford bed. It was a beautiful sight, and I just had the impression Lynford enjoyed watching it much more than shooting at it. McCARRAN Ernest Brown, Ne-vad- SALINA, UTAH Phone 22 We Deliver |
