Mr. and Mrs. Jerold Johnson and family vac ationed last week in Canada. While In Raymond, Canada, the Johnsons visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gorden Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Sorenson traveled to Provo Wednesday, where Cecil underwent minor eye surgery. They then traveled to Salt Lake City, where they visited with Gayle Olsen, who is recuperating from surgery in the Cottonwood Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Christensen, Richfield, visited at the home of Reta Sorensen on Monday. Club News 4-- H Friday, June 8th, the Four Fantastic Fingers held their second meeting. They started the meeting with a prayer given by Sharon Brown. The H Pledge was given by We all Shauna Simmons. 4-- brought material for a pair of jeans. We cut them out. Next Elaine Rasmussen Mr. and Mrs. Philo Rasmussen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elaine, to Alan 0. Gurr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Gurr, of Salina. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of NSHS and Sevier Valley Tech in Cosmetology. After working for three years in Provo, she served an LDS Mission to Central America. She is presently employed at Wilsons Cut & Curl in Salina. The groom-to-b- e is also a graduate of NSHS and has attended SUSC two years. He served as an LDS missionary in the West Mission. He is presently employed by L.A. Young Construction Co. The couple is planning an August 24th wedding in the Manti LDS Temple and will make their home in Cedar City, while Alan completes his education. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Christensen traveled to Salt Lake City Thursday, where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Over-so- n. Richfield, Carrol Ann Wilkes, 29, died on May 30, 1973, of natural causes. She was born August 9, 1943, in Pueblo Colorado, to Kenneth S. and Roberta Kring Nesslage. She married Kenneth O. Wilkes December 11, 1966, In Tooele, Utah. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and also an active member of tiie Arabian Horse Club. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2nd, at 4670 Highland Drive. Burial was at the Mr. View Memorial and Mr. and Mrs. George Scott, Rich- -, field, traveled to Bull Frog over the weekend. Visiting at the home of Mr,' and Mrs. Jay Spencer Sunday and also attending Sacrament Meeting to hear Elder Larry Spencer speak were Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Spencer, Salt Its A pink bliss at the Brad Rasmussen home. Baby daughter, Elizabeth, arrived June 1, 1973, and weighed 8 lbs. 10 12 oz.
