IMS Sevier Republicans Legion Team In State Tourney Name Peterson And The Salma American Legion baseball team, coached by Hugh Curtis To Primary Bird, and managed by Nick Shaheen, were winners of the district eliminchampionship in a ation series, and were entries in the state tourney. Mrs. Folster was born Oct. 18, 1889 in Redmond, the daughter of George L. and Emelia Sorenson Breinholt. She has been active in civic affairs, and has been a member of the Ladies Literary Club two-ye- Lihoma Girls Advanced i The Lihoma Girls of the .First and Third Wards held their advancement programs last week. The First Ward met Wednesday d afternoon. Five girls in the class graduated, and three new girls were welcomed into the Lihoma. Special guests were the mothers of the girls. The Salina, Aurora and 'Redmond Little Leaguers played a schedule of .15 games, with the last two befog needed to pick a winner. In the Salina area, 30 boys played in the Little League schedule, wnd 31 participated in .the farm competition. The activity was a two game a week schedule, plus practices in the meantime.
