Dr. Merrill was the entertaining and instructive speaker. He was glad to talk to the students, he said, because he liked to talk to people whose futures were in front of them instead of behind them. lie said, that in going to school the students were storing up something to sell. But he warned them against selling it too soon before the crop was large enough. Students he said, who are getting things to sell later on must have a key to the granary education which is the key and will open the dor to success.
