Sept. r 21 . 1988 Wolves will take on Beavers on Friday The North Sevier High School Wolves had abye last week and used the extra time to perfect some of their plays. The Wolves will take on Beaver on the Beaver's home grounds on Friday, September 23, with game time at 7 p.m. The Wolves are making great progress, according to their coach, Glen Partridge, and team members and coaches say they won't stop until they bring home that first place trophy. Friday, September 30, the Wolves will host the Cowboys from Kanab in a 3 p.m. game at the NSHS football complex. The only other home game will be played on October 12, and will be the homecoming game against the Milford Tigers. Lady Wolves travel to Emery this week This weeks volleyball action will see the Lady Wolves take on Emery on Thursday, September 22, at Emery. They will host Gunnison in a home game on Tuesday, September 27. They will host the South Sevier team on Thursday, September 29. After the South Sevier game there are only five games remaining before Region Play. Senior Citizen News ' Ray Blackham has accepted the position to represent the Salina Area Senior Citizens on the Six County Legislative Committee. He has scheduled a meeting on October 13, at the Senior Center at 1 p.m. to have a consultant explain the new catastrophic insurance program of the federal government. Tomorrow night, September 22, at 7 p.m. at the Center, the Senior Citizens will hold their opening Potluck Dinner. The Advisory Council will furnish the ham, baked potatoes, and dinner rolls. Seniors attending are asked to bring either a vegetable dish, dessert, or donate $2 per plate. Menu for this week includes the following: Thursday - Salisbury Steak, whipped potatoes, gravy, cauliflower, Lemon banana dessert. Brownie, bread, butter, milk, juice. Friday - Hamburger and Rice Casserole, buttered peas, whole tomatoes, fruit crisp, rolls, butter, milk, juice. Tuesday - Sausage Patty, macaroni and cheese, peas and carrots, fruit in season, bread, butter, milk, juice.
