NSMS Boasts Most Finalists Bernice and Her Boys In Alternate Energy Contest Eight North Sevier Middle School Science projects and their creators have won the right to represent the North Sevier area in Utah Power and Lights annual Alternate Energy Contest this Tuesday evening in Richfield. The eight projects constitute the largest number of finalists from a single school in the Southern Utah-wi- de contest, according to contest director Anna Rae Johnson, Aurora. The Rodeway Inn in Richfield will be the site of the awards banquet. Mrs. Johnson, senior customer relations representative for UP&L, said the contest brings entries from every school district from South Sanpete County to St. George. She said more finalists come from North Sevier because more students entered the contest. I think you can attribute that to the science teacher, Jim Torgerson and to the principal, LaMont Dan-sishe said. They motivate the kids. Assisting Mrs. Johnson in the contest is Margaret Oler, Richfield.
