Our tax system was outlined when our state was young and agriculture was the largest business of our wonderful state, and so we taxed the property to. run our state, our schools and other necessary expenses on. We have made wonderful strides in progress, commercially in providing employment to thousands who escape the tax law, but enjoy the same privileges. Why not amend our tax law and be free and equal, free to enjoy and equal to pay for it? Why should we hold to our old method of property tax, that is worn out; we need a new method. .Why should the fellow with' a farm or home pay the expenses of the high salaried man and let him spend from one hundred to five or six hundred, on luxury, and swell clothes and good times, with free privileges of our schools and laws? We dont want to take anything away but better our schools, enforce our laws better, and if we share equally in the expenses we would appreciate it more and feel a part of this wonderful state machinery in We ritizens. producing and freedom in believe and justice service and if we are to enjoy it to the fullest extent we must all have recognizes THE smokers of America hfeve rewarded Real Quality with Real the honest law-abidi- Leadership .
