Yasalin Sclil c Pita Peal Bo; Scoot Piclores Seeing 'filings To Gel .Publicity I Tbe National Forests of Utah took in $219,226.93 during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1921, reports Lee n Stratton, Fiscal Agent of the Distirct of the Forest Service. This figure excludes the Cache National Forest, the bulk of which lies in Idaho. The sum of $186,707.12, or approximately 85 per cent of the total i:; derived from glazing fees, the balance being derived chiefly from timber sales, which brought in $24,197.66 last year. The total leceipts were approximately $36,000 ltss than a year ago. This, however, does not indicate diminuation of National Forest business, as during the previous year, arrangements made for the convenience of stockmen in paying their fees during the period of drepression, had the effect of temporarily swelling the receipts of that year. The timber sale business vv hich has not been subject to any such disturbing factors shows an increase of $3,697.43 over the previous year, while minor sources of income also show good increases. Tw'enty-fiv- e per cent ot the total income, approximately $55,000, will be distributed to the counties of the state in lieu of taxes on the National Forest lands within their boundaries. The Manti Forest which lies East of Gunnison Valley, took in $39,755.86, next to the highest amount of receipts of any Utah Forest. This amount was jess than that for the previous year on account of the way in which split fees were paid in that year, which more ithan makes up for considerable in the timber sale business, which jumped from less than $7,000 to nearly $11,000 in the last fiscal year. This increase is due, in part, to the establishment of a sawmill at Manti for the utilization of aspen which is found in large quantities on Inter-mountai- Knights of the Square Table, Aermcias Heritage, and the Harold Lloyd funny comedy, Get Out and Get Under, scored as. prime" favor-- ' ites with the people in Sigurd, Aurora, Redmond, and Salina when they were given as picture shoV programs in those towns last week. All the houses were packed and people who saw the Boy Scout pictures found scout work to be the very thing they wished for their boys. Knights of the 'Square Table was a four reel feature showing how a gang of wharf rats were convinced of the worthiness of scout work when their leader was saved from death by scouts. The wharf rats were the Knights of the Square Table. They were really god sports and good boys who had no chance to be the best because they had no leader to show them the right way. When they found the scouts to be not sisies but real Upon the completion of their trip of weeks into all the world last Friday night the forty enrolled students of the Presbyterian Daily Vacation Bible School presented a pageant, Into All the World, and gave an exhibition of their handiwork. In colorful costumes, with sweet songs, and speeches the children made .their parents and friends see vividly the conditions of their foreign brothers, they have visited during the summer.
