Show F m 6 county anty seat news DS PIONEER PASSES AWAY sirs airs lucy al thompson age 77 of duchesne passed away sunday night at her home at about eleven in it the evening mrs airs thompsons Thomp sons death was due to dropsy she had qu quite ite a severe case of influenza last may alay and her strength never returned since that time she has gradually failed in health it finally developing into dropsy she became entirely helpless about ten lays days before her death mrs thompson was born while her parents were crossing the plains in one of the original pioneer companies may 7 1848 she has lived in utah practically all of her life most of that time in the southern part ot of the state she together with her husband john 0 thompson and some of their child chil children dien i en moved to duchesne from price in fit the year 1906 they were among the first families to settle in this vicinity and have taken an active part in the pioneering and developing of this part of the basin john 0 thompson husband of mrs rs thompson died shortly after arriving october 30 1906 lie ile was the second person to be buried in duchesne mrs thompson is survived by the following children brigham S of duchesne george F william L talmage and joseph W ca camaioni zin onville alle U utah tah funeral services will be held in duchesne wednesday at 10 a in 1 |
