Show GONE TO TILE GREAT BEYOND it Is with regret that we chronicle the demise of M E harmston who died last thursday morning ot of influenza at his horns home after an illness of three days he leaves to mourn ills his loss a loving wife three sons marion rogers and fred and a daughter helene one brother ed F harmston and several nieces and nephews besides a host of friends the deceased was one of our most worthy men and a good citizen having followed the drug business here for many years arid and will be sadly missed in our community mr air harmston armston It caina to the aln tali tah basin about eleven years ago and endeared himself to the people of the whole community in november 1897 liew hew as united in marriage to miss isabella thurston of hyannis nebraska and later moved to roosevelt where they nave resided ever since the funeral services were held in the ilia trinity episcopal church easter easier sunday at 11 the church was crowded with kith those who gathered at the public funeral services ile he was prominent as a druggist arid and those who attended his funeral ft ere from all walks or lite lire the church services was comforting it included the 90 psalm the scripture lesson cor mr harmstone Harms tons favorite hymn nearer my god to thee was rendered the lords prayer and the prayer far grace th transfiguration and support the choir rendered beautiful music and a violin solo also added to the solemn occasion brief addresses were rendered by chas principal or ane roosevelt schools and the rector rev M M fryer they both spoke very fee feelingly linly of 0 this mans life work the pall bearers were the nephews of the deceased inc including J E frizzell and ross bartlett the honorary pall bearers were james mathews 0 H bracken C 1 I johnl son jas salley sabey and robert hicks the body was interred in the roosevelt cemetery |
