Show Myton Mrs. Sarah Nielson The Friday Bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Wm. Kohler last week. Those present were Mrs. Wm. Preece, Mrs. Wm. Harris, Har-ris, Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Wm. Linck, Miss Anna Hunt, Miss Alice Todd and Ms. Homer Rob-insonn Rob-insonn Mrs. M. C. Adams was plea-santly plea-santly surprised. Saturday, when Mrs. Garland Reed, Mrs. Don Felter, Mrs. Ray Thompson, Mrs. Lorin Wilson, Mrs. Donald Smith and Miss Sarah Bywatcrs called on her, bringing presents and a delicious lunch. The occasion celebrated her birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Ralph Walker, of Salt Lake, is enjoying a visit with her sister, Mrs. O. A. Dart, and family, and with Mr, and Mrs. James Dalg-leish, Dalg-leish, Mrs. Ray Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hadden and baby; Mr. and Mrs. Acel Nielson and baby, and Mrs. Emery Nielson visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. M. C. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pratt gave the program in Sacrament meet-1 ing, Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Allred visited, vis-ited, Sunday, with Mr. Allred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allred, of Bluebell. Mrs. Denzell Hemphill was hostess at a dinner on her birthday birth-day anniversary on January 19. Guests present included Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris, Mrs. Oscar Adams, Ad-ams, Lydia Pcatross, Mr. and Mrs. Arval Gillan, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hamilton and Paul Eggles-ton. Eggles-ton. Mrs. Florence Anderson and son, of Phoenix, Arizona, arrived arriv-ed last week to visit her mother, Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. . Mary Savage went to Gusher,' Thursday, to spend the weekend with friends. Mr. and Mrs. John McClellan went to Salt Lake City, Thursday, Thurs-day, where Mr. McClellan underwent un-derwent an operation on Friday. Mrs. McClellan retruned home Sunday. She reported that Mr. McClellan was doing nicely. Mrs. Ed Thompson and family, of American Fork, has been visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Guy Taylor for the past two weeks. Mrs. J. R. Bywater was called to Provo, Saturday, to stay with the family while her daughter,' Mrs. Owen Payne, is being treated treat-ed at a hospital. James Dalgleish went to Salt Lake, Wednesday, to have dental work done, J. H. Blaine went to Salt Lake City on business, Saturday. John Redmond, Heber Hall and Leland Angus were here, Thursday evening to meet the teachers and members of the priesthood. Otto Nielson and Clyde Rich-ens, Rich-ens, of Vernal, visited Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson on Friday. Ronald Giles was a guest of Kirk Winn at Roosevelt for a few days last week. |
