Show HAYDEN well I 1 will vill have to say a few words fo for r our home town again we have had some mud in our streets this spring on account of the neglect of our people not taking care of the water and keeping it in the canals instead of the streets 1 I was going down to town the other day and right by henry halls field I 1 saw a new hat laying in the middle of the ranch and of course I 1 went and picked it up and there was a mans head under it and I 1 said what in the world are you doing here he answered go on about your business I 1 am standing on a load of hay I 1 am taking to whiterocks then my hat blew off oh no you have no mud hereit is funny to think that in this busy time of oe ahe year that the people will take lake the time to go to fort duchesne and lose one or two days finding out about the over ament lands when if they subscribed f fr for r the home paper they would bics ics no time and get the facts but time in oney money to some bilks everybody is busy farming here sage brush is going up in in smoke very fast by the looks of the fires around in the country our town is out of sassafras since spring has opened up we will sure have to take the home paper now to find out what our neighbors are doing brother joe hardy wasa visitor here last week on business well dont be afraid of the roads now for old mother spring has done her work and dried up the roads fine our bishop has not been seen approaching his ranch since the ground hog came out and the cattle men are busy taking care of three fat cattle everybody is sure busy here |
