Show Velda Hoopes Weds Eldon Anderton In Home Ceremony Silhouetted against a beautiful beauti-ful trellis archway covered with yellow roses and white peonies, Miss Velda Hoopes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Hoopes, of Whiterocks. traded vows with Eldon El-don Anderton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton. Sr., of Neola. The ceremony was performed per-formed Monday, June 20, in the garden at the home of the bride's parents, with Bishop Preston At-wood At-wood officiating. For her wedding the bride chose a gown of white satin styled with an off-shoulder, scalloped scal-loped neckline, and a net-inset bodice. Her finger tip veil was caught to a cornet of red sweet-peas. sweet-peas. Attending the couple were bridesmaids Barbara Morrill, of Tridell. and Moana Smith, while Petro Forakis, brother-in-law, of the bride, stood as best man. Immediately following the ceremony cer-emony a delightful plate lunch was served to the wedding party and assembled guests. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mitchell and daughter, Judy, of Kamas; Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reed, of Manila, Ma-nila, Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Ellingford, of Tridell, and Verda Wimmer, of Salt Lake City. |
