Show ALVA D. HANCOCK Funeral services were conducted con-ducted on Monday at 4:00 p.m. in Salt Lake City for- Dewey Hancock, in Larkin Mortuary, on March 23. The bishop of the Richards ward conducted the services. Invocation was by Franklyn Bird Smith and the Richards ward Relief Society chorus sang the opening and closing songs. Speakers were Leslie B. Goodrich, Good-rich, Ira B. Cannon, Mr. Parkin and the bishop of the Richards ward. JoAnn Goodrich sang "The Lord's Prayer," and Donald Don-ald Stone sang "Face to Face." Benediction was by Arthur Bjorkman. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn cemetery in Salt Lake. Among those attending the funeral serives were the following follow-ing from Bluebell: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich, Mr. and -Mrs. John Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Goodrich, Gardner Goodrich, Good-rich, Verona Winkler, JoAnn Goodrich, Leland Goodrich, Mr and Mrs. Martin Hancock and Leonard Goodrich. Among the students of Alta-mont Alta-mont High School participating in the annual contest of school activities at Carbon College in Price, on Friday, from Bluebell were: Cheryl Remington, in shorthand; Hazel Jenkins, in shorthand and 2nd year typing; and JoAnn Goodrich, in shorthand short-hand and 2nd year type. The finals will not be known for about two weeks. |
