Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Obituary NEAL GOWANS Word comes from Tooele of the death of Neal Gowans, 51 on Friday at 10:30 a.m., following follow-ing a lingering illness. He was born in Tooele Nov. 8, 1901, a son of Andrew and Willena Hansen Han-sen Gowans. On Oct. 21, 1929 he was married mar-ried to' Marvel Murray, in Ma-lad, Ma-lad, Idaho. Mr. Gowans spent the most of his life in Tooele where he attended school and worked for the International Refining Re-fining Co. Survivors include his widow, of Tooele; his mother, Salt Lake City; three sons, Willard and Far.rell Gowans, "Tooele, and Wilbur Gowans, serving with the U. S. Navy in Japan; three step-sons, Dean Allred, Ipswich, Mass., Jack Allred, Tooele and Arthur Allred, Kearns; 2 stepdaughters, step-daughters, Mrs. Velma Melca-lich, Melca-lich, Tooele and Mrs. .Arkoha Bird, Price; 19 grandchildren; three brothers, Charles and Gowans, Tooele, and Merl Gowans, Gow-ans, Grantsville; one sister, Willena Wil-lena Gowans, Salt Lake City. Ths Gowans family lived a short time in Bluebell. Mrs. Gowan spent a good deal of her early life in Bluebell. |
