Show Funerals AGNES TAIT Funeral services for Agnes Tait. 87, who died Monday in a Rock Springs, Wyoming hospital, were conducted Thursday afternoon after-noon in the Roosevelt Baptist church, with the Rev. Chas. Ray officiating. She was born in Scotland, July 21, 1861, a daughter of Alexander and Agnes Mitchell Stewart, and was married to William Tait in Pennicuik. Scotland, Scot-land, December 31, 1885. Shortly Short-ly after their marriage they moved to Canada, and in 1895 to Diamondville, Wyoming. They had also lived in Cumberland, Cum-berland, Wyo., before moving to Roosevelt in 1915. They moVed to Carbon county for a short time, but returned to the Uintah Basin Ba-sin in 1935. Mr. Tait died in Roosevelt in that year. Surviving are two sons: Stewart Stew-art Tait. Winton, Wyoming, and James Tait, Rock Springs, Wyo.; six daughters, Mrs. Agnes Ver-nick, Ver-nick, Westville, 111.; Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Wilcox, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mrs. Bessie Wardle, Roosevelt; Roos-evelt; Mrs. Jean McWilliams, Reliance, Wyoming; Mrs. Fern Bletch, Highland Park. 111., and Mrs. Lee Golsch, Yakima, Wash.; two brothers, Robert and James Stewart, of Scotland; and a sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Elizabeth Liang, of Scotland, 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Dill-man Dill-man Funeral Home. |
