Show 64th Birthday Brings Family For Get Togther Mrs. J. O. Hoopes was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised on Wednesday March 25 when she entered the LDS Chapel and found seven of her eight children and their families assembled. The occassion was Mrs. Hoopes' 64th birthday. A program consisted of a tap dance by Bonnie Ek-sund; Ek-sund; piano solo by Phyllis and Arvella Eksund; song from Lou and Stanley Hoopes; song by J. O. Hoopes; The Happy Birth-Song Birth-Song by Kenneth and Evelyn Hoopes, Bonnie Eksund, Toni and Marlene Hoopes, Billy For-akis For-akis and Bert Moosman. A delicious supper was served to thirty-four guests and the re mainder of the evening was spent in dancing. The only one of her family not present was Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reed who live at Manlia, Utah and ttheir four children. A granddaughter, the Hoopes' only grandchild, Mrs. Lela Anderton And-erton and son were also out of town. |
