IN THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OP OF TWELVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE PURPOSE OP OF SUPPLYING THE CITY WITH WATER BY purchasing THE waterworks WATER WORKS SYSTEM OF ROOSEVELT WATER WORKS COMPANY AND EXTENDING AND IMPROVING THE SAME THE WORKS FOR SUPPLYING SUCH WATER TO BE OWNED AND controlled BY THE municipality WHEREAS tile the city of roosevelt has been duly authorized to purchase the waterworks water works system of roosevelt waterworks Water works company for or the purpose of supplying tile the said e city and nd the inhabitants thereof with water tor for fire and domestic purposes and WHEREAS it la Is necessary to extend and improve the said water works system and WHEREAS the rity city council ot of the said city deems it advisable and necessary to submit to the qualified electors ot of tile the said city the question of authorizing the issuance of the negotiable goti got able table coupon bonds of the city in the aggregate amount of twelve thousand five hundred dollars for the purpose of supplying the city with water by purchasing tile tho waterworks water works system ot of roosevelt waterworks Water works company and extending and improving the same the works tor for supplying such water to be owned and controlled by the municipality nici NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OP 01 THE CITY OF ROOSEVELT IN THE COUNTY OF DUCHESNE AND STATE OF UTAH section 1 that a special election ot of such qualified electors of the city of roosevelt as shall have paid a property tax in the year pieced las ing such election be called and sali said election is hereby called for foi I 1 day tile the 31 day of december A P 1 1915 section 2 that tha at sad election the following question shall be and I 1 is hereby submitted to such qualified electors of tho the city as shall have hare paid a property tax in the year preceding said election to wit shall the city of roosevelt ere create an indebtedness by issuing it ito s negotiable coupon bonds in the aggregate amount of twelve thousand five hundred dollars payable at the option ot of the city after ten years and absolutely due and payable twenty years from their date and bearing
