She has been an active member of tbe international singing organization since 1957 and served as vice president, treasurer council member, and quartet promotion chairman of the Salt Lake Chapter. In 1961, Mrs. Gray attended the International Convention at Colorado Springs and entered the quartet competition along with many other outstanding foursomes from all parts of the nation. The quartet In which she was a competing member, "Tbe Flames," was successful in winning the 5th place medalist award. Mrs. Gray is currently an approved candidate judge and has attended many contests throughout the region as a practice Judge.
