The theme, "Lift Up Thy Voice" will be heard to measure the power of speech at the festival to be held Friday and Saturday, June 18 and 19, at 8:15 PM In the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Scenes will depict the power and Influence In speech In shaping men and history. Prominent scenes In history will include Apostle Paul's speech before King Agrippa and the Prophet Joseph Smith In Liberty Jail in Missouri. 1300 speakers and dancers are under the direction of Francis L. Urry and and dozens of talented Individuals, specialised In theatrical arts, choreography and designing costumes and scenery are assisting. A speech clinic will be held In the Garden Park Ward, 1 1 50 Yale Avenue June 19 from 8 A M to 3 P.M. for all stake and ward speech directors.
