Richfield has received the Governor's Vocational Forest from Pacific University Applied Technology Excellence Scholarship in business and office technology The scholarship is full tuition She also received a $100 check for being a finalist Hutchings was nominated for the award by Monica Davis business teacher at SVATC After compiling a binder of information it was sent in for competition Following an interview in Salt Lake City Hutchings received information she had w on the aw ard She is a daughter of Russell Hutchings and Melinda Hutchings both Monroe AURORA — Alisa Bastian has been appointed as the student senate secretary at Snow College for the 1994-9- 5 school year She wi'l officially begin her du-uin June Officers elect were administered the oath of office at the Inaugural Ball May 14 at Snow College The new officers then spent three days at Sundance Resort at training sessions Bastian is a daughter of Tim and Doris Bastian and granddaughter of Ernest and Elaine Bastian
