stereotyping artist? Artists create then want to show w hat they’ve made to other people The two essential elements of any definition of art are creation and an interaction between artists and audience through the product of the created art All loo often however the artistic process is regarded as something apart from everyday life Let's expand our knowledge of the arts For example the next time you attend an athletic event notice the physical action combined with the emotional involvement inherent in artistic presentation of a basketball lay-u- p the timing and tightness of muscles and extension of the body to reach the football or the projected design of the body that roaches the height before the uncoiling of the body in a swimmer's dive Cast Announced Field Of Stars Practice 7 June 3 periods a day at Red Hills Middle School and one period a day at ASHMAN (Continued From part-tim- e Whitaker as a music teacher for six Richfield High School DeLoss Christensen as a district specialist in human resources technology and business partnerships Ronald Call as a biology teacher at Richfield High School and Kenneth Finley e as a custodian at Ashman part-tim- Elementary and Richfield High Consent agenda action included approvals for revisions of policies on salary lane changes safety and risk management and sick leave two home school requests one request for maternity leave school fees for the 1994-9- 5 school year one request for out of state travel and compensation for board members when required to attend extra meetings In the patron dialogue portion of the meeting Edward Jones III a student at South Sexier High School asked the board to consider gifted and talented students as those with special needs Behavior problems sometimes arise from lack of being challenged in school and more exploration of academics supervised by a teacher would help gifted students Jones also said gifted students should receive more formal advisory scr-- x ices Board member Carl Albrecht who has served on the committee to select a new director of the Utah High School Activities Association announced that Evan Exccll athletic director of Ben Lomond High School was selected from a field of nine candidates Albrecht said Exccll has southern Utah roots and is acquainted with concerns of rural schools Board members will next meet June 16 at 7 pm at the school district office 195 East 500 North Richfield Any items submitted for that agenda should be at the district office by June 8 ©Kira Ws Msinromsin lav VTJ(s£s(sim(dl GMeair Sfteair Lila Mae Miller Media Aide Awarded GD1I tamiEs imairs!
