Show BILS DIES AT HOME r funeral services to be held in second ward chapel this afternoon funeral services will be held today at 2 p m for chas L bean 69 who died at his home here monday morning although mr air beans health had not been good for some time he had bad been confined to his bed only two weeks before his death mr dean was born at provo january 29 1867 a son of george W and emily haws bean with his parents he came to richfield in 1877 and continued to make his home here as one of the commini tys mast respected citizens he was a farmer and road contractor pe be served one term as a richfield city councilman he was active in L D S church work until h his I 1 s health became impaired he f fulfilled ul two missions leaving for one in the southern states in 1899 and for one in the northern states in 1907 he was a member of the sevier stake high council four or five years until he was called to serve as a counselor to G W coons in the third ward bishopric and served as aa a counselor r pearly early 13 years he was a teacher in church organizations and otherwise active in the church mr air beans marriage to mary jensen took place october 16 1889 n tile the manti temple and she with kith one son lowell D bean survives together with two sisters mrs geo A beal of manti and mrs emily bell of richfield one brother B J bean of van nyes ayes california and the following half brothers and sisters G T be bean mrs S G dark clark and 1 I W bean richfield ml mis is J L horne home jesse P F bean and mrs vilate johnson salt lake city W W bean palmyra N Y 0 U bean and virginius bean of california |
