Show ilu funeral services service s held here for W H robinson F funeral eral services for willard H robinson 73 who died monday morning in a salt lake hospital following a long illness were held wednesday afternoon in the third ward chapel with bishop alex jensen presiding I 1 speakers at the services were G W coons president R D young patriarch H J hansen and bishop jensen all of whom referred to the devotion robinson to the L D S church and to his many services in church and civic affairs during his long time of residence in richfield the musical numbers were though deepening trials and angry words oh let them never by a double quartet composed of mrs A 13 robinson mrs reginald peterson mrs airs roy christensen mrs airs donald peterson J A jackman leroy hatch roy christensen and A W rowley a violin solo by mrs dwight anderson and a vocal duet the lord Is my shepherd by mrs airs A B robinson and mrs airs donald peterson mrs airs C A jackman acted as accompanist comp anist the invocation was by jas M peterson the bendic tion by A W rowley 11 interment was in the city cemetery president E W poulson dedicated the grave pallbearers Pall bearers were three sons of mr robinson his son in law and D E borg of gunnison and david burraston of annabella members of the relief society carried the floral tributes mr robinson will long be remembered in sevier county for his services in public affairs he served as a county commissioner county assessor school trustee and member of the district board of education in the church he filled a mission in the southern states served as a bishops counselor for a number of years as stake clerk and on the stake sunday school board and as a young man was active in musical organizations he was bom at manti april 14 1861 a son of frederick C and elizabeth S robinson and later moved with the family to salina after the death of his bis mother when he was but a child he often had to shift for himself a great deal however he succeeded in gaining some educational training at the brigham young university he and his family made their home in richfield until a few years ago when they moved to salt lake and since that time he paid frequent visits to richfield until his health would no longer permit surviving mr air robinson are his his T widow mrs 1 loretta nielson robinson n on seven children willard lamar robinson chilocco Chi locco oklahoma D raymond lynn I 1 lincoln E christine and melba arid mrs A G Chris christean nil all of salt lake city and three grandchildren |
