Show obituaries I 1 ANNIE INIA CIRLIA POULSON I 1 funeral services will be held today thursday at 2 p m in the richfield first ward chapel for imars mrs annie macelia jessen poulson 76 widow of christian poulson who died monday afternoon at the home of her daughter I 1 urs mrs chell hopkins mrs poulson had been ill most of the time during the past six months she was born at mt aft pleasant on january 4 1863 a daughter of mads peter and annie Rasmuss cn jessen and came with her parents to richfield in 1872 her marriage to christian poulson took place january 20 1892 in the manti temple surviving are three sons jesse W poulson of richfield lehi and rulon poulson of los angeles one daughter mrs agnes chell hopkins of richfield six grandchildren and one sister mrs airs A G young of richfield mrs poulson had bad been an active worker in the relief society in which she served for a number of years as a block teacher and in the sunday school she was a member of the daughters of utah pioneers 0 LORENZO NIELSON funeral services were held on thursday afternoon at the sevier stake tabernacle for lorenzo nielson a pioneer resident of richfield who died at his home here may 29 C P christensen of the fourth ward bishopric presided at the services speakers were joseph ogden and orson F christensen A quartet composed of mrs J le L rue ogden mrs percy quinney alfred ward and leroy hatch accompanied compa nied by mrs airs lizzie hansen sang come ye disconsolate they will be done and farewell all earthly honors A solo lead me all the way was sung by mrs M W smith the invocation was by enoch R larsen the benediction by N P peterson W T ogden dedicated the grave interment being in the richfield Rich richfield fiela cemetery pallbearers Pall bearers were five sons and a son in law J M N M ray L horace J and ernest E nielson and W A stacy WALTER B LEE funeral services were held on thursday in the torrey ward chapel for walter B lee who died on may 29 at his home in torrey after an illness of several months duration mr lee was born at new harmony washington county on september 30 1869 in 1879 he with ids his widowed mother and family moved to torrey where he later filed a homestead entry and became one of the first pioneers of the settlement since then most of his life had been spent at torrey A carpenter by trade he had the privilege of helping to build the church school and seminary buildings in wayne county he was always a promoter of community progress having been a faithful member of the L D S church he will be greatly missed in the ward organizations he will be held in grateful memory by all who knew him as a useful and progressive citizen a wise counselor and a true friend mr air lee married malinda morrill of torrey on august 5 1890 to this union ten children were born surviving are the widow five sons two daughters two brothers two sisters 19 grandchildren and three grandchildren WARREN P HOUSE funeral services were held at marysvale Marys vale wednesday morning for warren wan en P 50 who died sunday at a richfield hospital after a short illness bishop fred was in charge of the funeral the L D S church choir with nelda hampton accompanist song sang three songs sometime well understand der stand oh it Is wonderful and beautiful home mrs rowena anderson and mrs madge johnson sang sometime somewhere the invocation was by charles hampton and the benediction by E arlos crofts speakers were mrs airs charles giffen methodist pastor J E and district attorney 0 R Ali chelsen of richfield burial was in the was dedicated by ted hansen mr air was born april 18 1889 at Elsen boro new jersey and he came to marysvale Marys vale in 1932 to work for mr air barnett at the bully bov mine i he is survived by two daugh daughters mrs airs florence strang and mrs ruth ott and three grandchildren all of elmer new jersey |
