Show amonoy IN ON ITCH funeral to be held today in monroe north ward chapel yergen 62 was di owned drowned in an irrigation ditch about a mile and a half west of monroe monday afternoon he had taken his team and gone to the place to make another ditch and do some work on a he adgate on the main tier ditch in which he was found dead at about by his bis son leon leon had gone to the field a little later than his father fathe r he noticed that his father was at work when he arrived but presuming that he had gone to a neighbors went on working for about half an hour before going to look for him apparently patently ly he had slipped and fallen striking his head as he fell into the ditch an investigation was made by sheriff V M fairbanks deputy ut y sheriff A 0 hopkins and a local physician mr was bom at mon i loe oe may 6 1875 a son of yergen and catherine winget and had lived at monroe all his life he married caroline peterson march 16 1910 surviving are his widow two sons leon of monroe and elmer of myton five brothers al andrew and heber all of monroe chas of payson orrin of sevier two sisters mrs catherine wooten of salt lake and mrs mary Y of monroe funeral services will be held today thursday at 2 p m in the monroe north ward chapel with bishop arthur C lundgreen in charge |
