Show FUN HEN HELD MON lafloy deceased well known in sevier an and d sanpete counties funeral services for arthur henrie 68 who died at his h home onie here sunday were held wednesday afternoon in the richfield third iva ward ivard rd chapel with bishop alex ale F jensen officiating speakers were judge N J bates henry buchanan and bishop jensen friends and neighbors of the deceased musical numbers included selections by a double mixed quartet under direction of mrs florence anderson a violin solo by H D christensen and a vocal abet by misses madge and una peterson W W buchanan of feied the invocation and the benediction was pronounced by L P ransen 11 ansen interment was in the city cemetery L P hansen dedicated the grave pall bearers neighbors of mr henrie were james B ramsay john wilson paul beutler chas L bean louis jensen and albert brain the esteem of friends and relatives for mr henrie and his family found expression in many beautiful floral offerings and a large attendance arthur henrie was nas born bom in manti utah june 3 1863 a son of daniel and susan coleman henrie he attended the manti schools the university of utah and for a few years taught school at sterling and mayfield by occupation he was a stonecutter stone cutter in 1892 lie he ma married led mary and four years later moved with his family to richfield which has since been the family home both in manti and richfield he be was active in religious and civic affairs he was the secretary of the mutual improvement asso association cla i a teacher in the parents class in sunday school and active in the elders quorum he served as a city councilman for two terms in richfield and was a justice of the peace in 1896 he started the first monumental works in sevier county his first place of business was on center street but later lie he moved to north main street vv where here his place of business is now located surviving mr henrie are his widow and the following children arthur and wayne henrie of sa san francisco mrs del andrews wilford and joseph henrie of los angeles A mrs habold ralph leland and robert henrie of richfield two children preceded him in death |
