Williams and counselor Victor Matthews of te Stake Presidency, visited the Randolph Ward last Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Norris and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson were business visitors in Ogden Monday. Mr. and Mrs H. J. Norris son Gerald, and Mr. and Mrs. .Wm. Marsh spent Thanksgiving day at Lyman, Wyo., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Jensen. A new home is. being built for Orval Johnson on West Church street. Carpenter Fred Smith is building, it. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Rex and children were n Midway, Utah, for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson, Richard Jackson and Alt Jackson were in Evan-sito-n on business Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Telford and children spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Garden City, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sprouse. Mrs. Minnie McKinnon and Gene motored to Oguen Saturday they returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Calder of Ogden Mr. and Mrs. Irel Longhurst of Eph-eriand Mr. and- Mrs. E. J. Peart of Kemmerer spent Thanksgiving at Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McKinnon. Matt Ncholls returned to Ogden Friday after spending Thanksgiving holiday with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McKinnon were Evanston shoppers Wednesday. Pfc. Ross Jackson visited a short while with his parents, Mr: and Mrs. Frank Jackson Wednesday. He was on his way to Nashville, Tenn., from California where he will enter flying. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith returned from a few weeks visit in California with their daughter Violet. It is reported that Eldon Brough was turned down by the State Draft Board. Mrs. Segard Larson and an Attorney, Mr. Bennett, of Salt Lake City were in Randolph last week end looking after her interests here.- We were all very glad to see her. Miss Barbara Rex of Salt Lake City spent the Thanksgiving holidays with her parents, Mr. nd Mrs. Samuel Rex. We understand she has accepted a position as school teacher in Duchesne county. Edward Peterson, former Seminary teacher at South Rich as accepted a position as teacher in Carbon county. Mrs. Tharon Hatch is home again She has been in Ogden under the doctors care. Corless Wamsley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wamsley arrived home Thursday, for a short furlough. Mr. Wamsley is stationed some where in the south. He will spend part of his furlough here and the rest in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Marshall and son Lanny of Ogden came Wednesday for a short vist. Wayne will act as mail carrier on the Jvanston mail Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They expect to return to Ogden Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Rex iwere Salt Lake City visitors over the week end. Mrs. Lynn Huffaker returned home Sunday from the Dee Hospital' with her new baby. Mr. and Mrs E. M. Crouch of Croyden were town visitors Sunday evening and Monday. Mrs. Crouch is the sister of Arthur, Charles, Heber and Billy Cox. It was very ncie to visit with them. Mr. and Mrs. Vem Hopkins and family motored to Ogden Monday. Mrs. Annie Wamsley of Evanston taught school Tuesday and Wednesday of last week and Monday this week in Mrs. Joan Stuarts room, Mrs Stuart had her tonsils removed during the holiday. Some more of our boys are leaving foi) army camps this week. Lets hope they get placed where they will get a great deal of pleasure and experience out of their change in life. Monday evening the local service stations were very busy until late in the evening serving gas an oil, not only in the car tanks, but in containers of from five to fifty gallons.
