Russell Myers and Louis Reed came from Ogden to spend the week end with their folks. Earl, Helen and Laura Myers, and Miss Norma Kimball of Garden City took the boys back on Sunday evening, then camped in Logan canyon over night. Orvin motored to Six Mile Sunday evening to spend a few hours with Ben on his turkey farm there. At last we have heard why we are receiving no rain this summer, not even during haying. In a recent letter to his parents, Charles L. Alley, reporting the weather condition at Selleville, 111., near St. Loui3, Mo., says that except for 5 hours of clear weather, rain has fallen incessantly for the past six weeks, when culmnating last Wednesday, 6 inches fell in 5 hours.
