Saturday, 'March 8th at the Kozy Theatre. With John S. Robertson at the Wm, this sensational Adela Rogers St. John story has been picturized with a romantic tang seldom approached in film fare and provides as gripping a climax as was ever filmed in a plot of triangular motivation! Johnny Mack Brown, who shares leading man honors with Asther as the devoted husband of the tempestuous woman in the case, repeats the dramatic trium) h he scored in Coquette. Asther back again with Garbo after making his debut with her In Wild Orchids gives a splendid and convincing performance in his new role, a difficult one indeed. It will be interesting to film fans to see Garbo and Asther playing their first 100 per cent American characterizations in this new feature. Their appeal as a romantic pair is unquestioned and it appears a certainty that the screen will see them together more often in the future. E. T. SCOYEN, Superintendent Having completed contract work on the Zion-MCarmel Highway in Zion National Park totalling one and a quarter million dollars, the Nevada Contracting Company have wrecked their camp which they have occupied for more than two years, moved out their equipment, and all employees have left the park, thus marking the end of their job of building the major part of what is perhaps the most spectacular highway in the world. Work,. on theygreat project, has now progressed to a point where it Is possible to open it to use by the public. However, any person who elects to drive over the road can expect delays up to several hours on account of the construction operations still in progress by other companies. The major parts of the work still uncompleted are the bridges over the Mukuntuweap River near park and across Pine Creek. In addition final surfacing of the section from the east portal of the tunnel to the park boundary remains to be done, and also some ufinor items of construction. Until all of this has been completed, which will probably be early in the summer, delavs may be expected. E. T. Scoyon, Superintendent Canyon National Parks, the rate for the standard all expense five-da-v tour "Starting, at Cedar City, Utah and including Zion, Bryce Canyon, and North liim. q the Grand Canyon National Parfe. Cedar Breaks, Kaibab Forest and other wonders of this section, has been reduced $15.00 effective during the season 1930., The reduction was made at the request .of oficials of the Union Pacific railroad, which furnishes bus and lodge service in these parks through its subsidiary the Utah Parks Company. This great scenic loop can' now be made for a total expense of $74.50 from Cedar City. This sum covers 4 nights lodging, fourteen meals, and 400 miles of transportation on busses of the company. The main factor in bringing about this reduction will be the decreased operating cost due to use of the Zion-MCarmel hierhway, which eliminates the Pipe Springs stretch of 59 miles of bad highway which busses were forced"to use In the past. The entire mileage of roads now used during tin's tour are already of a very high standard but are constantly being improv- 6df ,. Corresponding reduction In rates for longer and shorter alb; expense tours which involve the use of the new high way have also been made. , M Men and Gleanor Girls, under direction of the group leaders, Harold F.
