Show The Rich County News, December 15, 1983, Page 3 Christmas 1983-19- 84 NORTH RICH COMMUNITY EDUCATION Program North Rich Community Education has approval for the fol lowing classes, beginning January 3, 1984, Listed are the university level and vocational classes December 22 being offered. There was a nasty rumor going about that an old Christmas custom at Rich Elementary would not happen this year! Due to budget cuts in our school fall our music program was cut last from our schools. One of the most waited-fo- r programs of the school year for both parents and children alike was our Christmas program presented every year by the children of the North Rich Elementary. Not having this program would have been a great disappointment to all of our community young and old but with luck a few of the mothers in our town decided this was not to be so. fact the annual North Rich Elementary Christmas program will be presented on Thursday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. The theme Christmas Around the World was written by Elaine Negus and Susan Hansen. Each teacher is responsible for a musical and dance number from their class. ReNee Earley is volunteering her time to help with the singing numbers and Jane Floyd and Sally Lamborn have graciously volunteered their time and effort to help with the dance numbers. Principal Lynn Schow wishes to express his appreciation to his faculty and those who have volunteered tc make this Christmas program a success and encourages everyone to attend the program and have an enjoyable evening. Without our traditional Christmas program by the children a feeling of the Christmas spirit would have been lost if it was not for thos who volunteered to help make this Christmas be the best ever! So in appropriate boxes and return to North Rich Community Education, Attention E, McKay Willis. Registration will be held January 3, 1984 from 7- -9 p,m.
